Long-Term Vision

The ultimate goals of AGI and recursive self-improvement

Long-Term Vision (5+ Years)

The long-term roadmap explores the transition from advanced AI to true Artificial General Intelligence and beyond.

1. Recursive Self-Improvement

The point where the AGI system can understand its own source code (in MeTTa) and use its reasoning engines (PLN, MOSES) to write a faster, more intelligent version of itself.

  • Challenge: Ensuring stability and safety during the "intelligence explosion."

2. Universal Grounding

An AGI that has "lived" in virtual and physical worlds long enough to have a deep, intuitive understanding of physics, social dynamics, and human culture.

3. Scientific Discovery Acceleration

Using AGI to solve complex scientific problems—from room-temperature superconductors to curing aging—by reasoning across millions of research papers and performing simulations.

4. Global Intelligence Infrastructure

A decentralized network of AGI nodes sharing knowledge and compute, providing "intelligence as a utility" to humanity.

5. The Alignment Frontier

Achieving a state where the AGI is not just "obeying commands" but deeply understands and shares human flourishing as its primary goal.
